Remote Condensers

Remote condensers are used as external condensing units in HVAC/R applications, particularly in data centres, hospitals, hotels, shopping centres, supermarkets and cold rooms. 

ThermoKey offer both traditional fin & tube and also microchannel aluminium remote condensers, and in size range from 10kW to 2000kW.  Thermokey have the widest range of solutions for your remote condenser requirements.  ThermoKey cores, in the various configurations, are compatible with all standard refrigerants (R410A, R134a, R22, R407C, R404, R507A, R245fa), ammonia (R717), propane (R290) and water (R718) up to a maximum working pressure of 45 bar and test pressure of 50 bar.  They feature:

• Modular design, 2-16 fans

• Piping in copper, stainless steel AISI 304, or aluminium microchannel

• Finned pack available in a wide range of materials and corrosion protection finishes

• Complete range of accessories, and 8 sound level variants.

• Horizontal, vertical, or double coil vee configurations.

• Casing in galvanized steel & powder painted to C4 standard, or aluminium & stainless steel for C5M protection.

Each component within the heat exchanger (casing, fins, tubes, internal bulkheads, manifolds, fans, electrical box) can be customized on the basis of specific needs, and we are at your disposal to assist you in the most suitable choice, for example stainless steel tubes for applications with NH3 or copper tubes with increased thicknesses for CO2, etc.

Some models can also be equipped with three optional high efficiency adiabatic cooling systems to meet the most demanding applications/conditions.

• Air Fresh System (AFS) – high pressure spray nozzle system for peak power dissipation up to 500hrs/year.

• Wet Fin System (WFS) – Low pressure spray nozzle system for peak power dissipation up to 1000hrs/year.

• Evaporative Panel System (EPS) – efficient capacity increase with low water consumption operation up to 8000hrs/year.
