Acoustic Louvres

NAP Silentflo are the only Australasian company with independently laboratory certified acoustic solutions for almost every acoustic application, whether it be commercial, architectural, or industrial.

Performance is backed with extensive independent laboratory testing of the insertion loss, regenerated noise level, and aerodynamic performance across the whole range, together with an on-going program of continual product development at their test facilities in Melbourne and Hong Kong.

Cooke Industries have represented NAP in New Zealand for over 40years, and manufacture their entire acoustic products range under license here in New Zealand.  We provide a complete acoustic solution, including:

NAP acoustic louvres feature superior acoustic performance, low pressure drop and good weather resistance. while allowing air intake or exhaust through wall openings.

Available in three construction variants:

  • S-Line – for good all-round performance

  • H-Line – for improved low frequency performance

  • Chevron – for applications where weather protection is required from both sides

All variants have a range of depths from 300mm through to 900mm, with special construction also available.

For good weather performance, face velocities should be restricted to <2m/s maximum for inlets, and preferably ≈1.5m/s.  Velocities are not so critical on exhaust louvres, but good practice is to restrict these to a maximum of 2.5m/s maximum from an aerodynamic resistance perspective.
