Standard Fixed Exchanger Calorifiers

The standard catalogued BKPE and BME series hot water storage calorifiers with fixed smooth tube coils wound in a double concentric spiral to obtain the maximum exchange surface possible in relation to the storage capacity.

Model BKPE Domestic Hot Water Storage Calorifiers ideal for heat pump applications in the size range 200 – 2,000L, and featuring:

• Oversized fixed heat exchanger for enhanced performance at low temperature differentials.

• BKPE-V – Carbon steel construction with internal glass enamel coating and external anti-rust primer.

• BKPE-X – AISI316L stainless steel construction with internal & external pickling and passivation.

• BKPE2 is fitted with a double internal heat exchanger, enables addition of a further energy source, either traditional or renewable, which can act as support to the heat pump or as a single supply.

• Factory insulated with either hard foam polyurethane insulation or eco-friendly polyester insulation, and PVC jacket.

Model BME series Domestic Hot Water Storage Calorifiers for solar and traditional energy sources in the size range 150 – 2,000L and featuring:

• Single fixed heat exchanger for DHW production, with option for dual coils for solar integration.

• BME-V – Carbon steel construction with internal glass enamel coating and external anti-rust primer.

• BME-X – AISI316L stainless steel construction with internal & external pickling and passivation.

• Factory insulated with either hard foam polyurethane insulation or eco-friendly polyester insulation, and PVC jacket.

The new Q-series variants with energy efficiency class A are also available.  These feature extremely high performance insulation options with minimised heat loss to meet the increasing demand for reduced energy consumption.
