Bespoke Calorifiers

The standard catalogued PR series of hot water storage calorifiers for the rapid production and storage of domestic hot water, and designed for maximum adaptability to every type of plant.

The combination of a kit with external gasketed or brazed plate heat exchanger and stainless steel domestic water circulation pump with a storage tank (TA series) enables the DHW request to be satisfied by evaluating the best coupling between the heat exchanger and the storage capacity.  It is therefore possible to reduce the volume of the tank if there is a high power or, on the other hand, to achieve a large availability of domestic hot water under the opposite conditions.

This makes the PR series an ideal solution for applications with major draw-off points (sports centres, hotels, restaurants, condominiums, etc.) where the time for restoring the storage levels is fundamental for guaranteeing the high level of instantaneous requirements.

The PR series are supplied preassembled to speed up the installation operations.  The connection kit is fully insulated and there are 2 thermometers at the heat exchanger inlet and outlet to instantaneously check the operating conditions, and assess the heat exchange efficiency in order to program any maintenance activities for cleaning the plates to prevent possible performance drops.  It is also supplied with bi-metallic thermostat, installed on the storage tank, to control the ON/OFF switching of the connected generator.

Model PRI Domestic Hot Water Storage Calorifiers in the size range 200 – 5,000L, and featuring:

• Stainless steel gasketed plate heat exchanger with circulation pump kit, sized to suit duty.

• PRI-C – Carbon steel construction with internal Ceramflon enamel coating and external anti-rust primer.

• PRI-X – AISI316L stainless steel construction with internal & external pickling and passivation.

• Factory insulated with either hard foam polyurethane insulation or eco-friendly polyester insulation, and PVC jacket.

• Available in horizontal or vertical orientation.

Model PRS Domestic Hot Water Storage Calorifiers in the size range 200 – 2,000L, and featuring:

• Stainless steel brazed plate heat exchanger with circulation pump kit, sized to suit duty.

• PRS-C – Carbon steel construction with internal Ceramflon enamel coating and external anti-rust primer.

• PRS-X – AISI316L stainless steel construction with internal & external pickling and passivation.

• Factory insulated with either hard foam polyurethane insulation or eco-friendly polyester insulation, and PVC jacket.

• Available in horizontal or vertical orientation.

Outside of these ranges, we also offer completely bespoke engineered institutional grade hot water storage calorifiers with removable copper tube bundles, typically in the size range 300 to 10,000L capacity, and fabricated in grade SAF 2205 duplex stainless steel for increased resistance to corrosion cracking from chlorine in high temperature potable water.  Specifically designed for high temperature or high pressure applications, construction is to AS1210 and tailored to suit application pressures, with sizing, connections, and orientation to suit space constraints.  Typically supplied bare to be insulated in-situ.
