Bespoke Storage Tanks

The TLR-ACS range of water storage tanks for DHW extends the possibility of customising the tanks to adapt them to a very wide range of needs, allowing both the thermal performance of the various components and their arrangement in the layout of the system to be optimised.

There are a large number of complete options to choose from:

• Capacity: from 100L to 5000L

• Version:  they can be manufactured, in the larger sizes, with LOW and EXTRA-LOW heights to allow them to be installed in circumstances where the available height is not sufficient for the standard measurement;

• Operating Pressure: from 6bar to 10bar;

• Construction Material: Carbon steel with internal CERAMFLON treatment or AISI 316L stainless steel pickled and passivated;

• Insulation: PLF/PLFH (polyester fibre) thickness 50/100 mm, to reduce the waste of energy with respect to the parameters of the ErP standard;

• External Cladding:  Technical fabric or embossed aluminium sheeting

• Type of Connections:   Threaded (GAS/M) or Flanged (PN16);

• Protection Anodes:  Sacrificial magnesium type or ensuring the complete protection and without the need for maintenance by selecting the ELECTRONIC version;

• Inspection Openings: Different sizes can be selected to allow inspection and cleaning inside the tanks;

• Removable Heat Exchangers: Available in copper spiral-finned, copper tube bundle or stainless steel tube bundle versions, they allow heat to be transferred to the storage tank, connecting to all types of generators, even with steam operation. Also available with electric elements as primary or backup.

The TLR-ACS, thanks to its modularity, can truly be adapted to all situations, either for technical reasons or for appearance, to achieve a storage unit bespoke to the system and to obtain greater order and space inside the thermal system, with the advantage of reducing the production and maintenance costs of the various components present.

Outside of this range, we also offer completely bespoke engineered hot water storage vessels typically in the size range 300 to 10,000L capacity and fabricated in grade SAF 2205 duplex stainless steel for increased resistance to corrosion cracking from chlorine in high temperature potable water.  Specifically designed for high temperature or high pressure applications, construction is to AS1210 and tailored to suit application pressures, with sizing, connections, and orientation to suit space constraints.  Typically supplied bare to be insulated in-situ.
