Small Air Cooled Inverter Heat Pumps

The YORK® YVAG is designed for real world efficiency, with part load performances meeting the highest efficiency values in cooling and heating.  These units feature high efficiency DC inverter compressors and dual fans equipped with high efficiency, low noise DC inverter motors, which adjust the air flow to exactly match the capacity in an accurate and efficient way, thus ensuring stable operation across the entire operating range. 

The YVAG is suitable for a large range of both ambient and leaving water temperatures in both cooling (-5°C to 48°C ambient and 5°C to 25°C leaving water temperature) and heating (-27°C to 43°C ambient and 30°C to 58°C leaving water temperature).  The units is also very quiet, with sound pressure levels down to 54dB(A) at full load and 40dB(A) at part load, as well as a silent mode that reduces full load levels by 5dB(A).

The modular concept comes complete with a hydronic loop circulating pump (up to 22m head), expansion tank, water flow switch, safety valve, fill valve and wye-strainer, saving space in the room and making installation easy and fast.  Available in 10 sizes from 11kW to 40kW nominal cooling/heating capacity, the units are designed for modular installations (up to 4 module combinations among all the models) to meet the needs of different residential and light commercial building demands.  This permits installed capacities from 11kW - 160kW.
