Modular Air Cooled Heat Pumps

The YORK® YCAE-X Series is a modular chiller/heat-pump series with over two decades of operation and over one million units in operation around the world.

Available is 3 packaged sizes of nominal cooling and heating capacity 65kW, 100kW and 130kW, these units can be linked up to 32 units to provide great design flexibility and redundancy, and easy connectivity to building automation systems (BAS).

Each unit features twin refrigeration circuits, up to four stages of capacity control, intelligent defrost and anti-freezing, and which, when multipled up, provide nearly stepless regulation, optimum system efficiency at part-load, and partial redundancy, therefore ensuring reliable operation.

With and extremely small footprint, the YORK® YCAE Series is also the perfect solution for high performance in smaller spaces.  Installation is simplified with a compact size that permits forklift loading, and a modular configuration allows units to be arranged in varying footprints to fit different space requirements. This unique modularity means capacity can be increased incrementally as buildings are being constructed or spaces are becoming occupied. And if maintenance is required, other modules in the system will continue to operate, helping to reduce downtime and loss of capacity.
