Rectangular Duct Silencers

The main factors that affect the acoustic performance are the silencer length, the open area, and the splitter thickness. NAP offer three different series (D, E & H) for increasing low frequency acoustic performance. Each has different splitter thicknesses, acoustic infills, and airway spacing between the splitters, resulting in different percentage open areas, and feature:

  • Standard or low-pressure loss variants.

  • Specially formed nose sections which provide a larger acoustic splitter whilst retaining a low pressure loss entry.

  • Standard galvanised or optional stainless steel construction.

For applications where increased performance is required under demanding conditions, NAP can offer a customised solution with guaranteed acoustic and aerodynamic performance.

Standard construction is from galvanised steel, with special construction variants available in aluminium or stainless steel finish for harsh environments, or with impervious membranes for moisture laden environments.

For applications where increased performance is required under demanding conditions, NAP can offer a customised solution with guaranteed acoustic and aerodynamic performance.
