Cross-Talk Silencers

The Airvent range of cross-talk or air relief silencers has been specially designed to solve the problem of transferring air from adjacent areas whilst maintaining acoustic privacy.

These silencers allow two way airflow, whilst efficiently reducing the transfer of sound in either direction. They are particularly effective in the all-important speech frequency range, which often causes problems in the work environment.

They feature:

• High performance in the important speech frequency range.

• Four configuration shapes for application flexibility:

  • I Configuration – For straight through relief with no change of direction; generally used between rooms.

  • L Configuration – Incorporating a single elbow; generally used for ceiling to plenum layouts.

  • Z Configuration – Incorporating a dual opposing elbows; generally used for concealed wall mounted layouts.

  • U Configuration – Incorporating a dual elbow; generally used for ceiling to ceiling layouts.
