Reactive Silencers

Multi-chamber reactive silencers for application where good broad band performance is required.  Typical applications are process plant noise control, and exhausts from diesel engines used for power generation, pumping sets, or mobile compressors. 

The Industrial Grade RIE and RIS with end (RIE) or side (RIS) inlets and end outlets are dual chamber reactive silencers tuned for medium performance of 20-25dB(A) at mid to low frequencies, and a low pressure drop for minimal resistance. 

The Residential Grade RRE and RRS with end (RRE) or side (RRS) inlets and end outlets are dual chamber reactive silencers tuned for maximum all-round performance of 25-30dB(A) at mid to low frequencies, and a low pressure drop for minimal resistance. 

Both ranges feature:

• Standard designs from 50NB to 500NB inlet.

• Special spark arrestor designs for where spark control is required.

• Heavy gauge mild steel construction with silicon based heat resistant aluminium paint finish for temperatures up to 600°C.

Customised designs are available for specific attenuation or size requirements.
