Absorptive Silencers

The RAE or RAS absorptive silencers are straight through types with end (RAE) or side (RAS) inlets and end outlets.  Used in intakes of petrol and diesel engines, intakes and discharges of rotary blowers, screw and reciprocating compressors, discharges of vacuum pumps, blowers, and boiler flue applications where medium acoustic performance of 10-15dB(A) is required.

The absorptive design also results in minimal pressure loss as the gas flows through the silencer bore.

• Standard designs from 50NB to 500NB inlet.

• Heavy gauge mild steel construction with silicon based heat resistant aluminium paint finish for temperatures up to 600°C.

• Customised designs available for specific attenuation or size requirements.
